Default Climate Control Display

The display on my climate control is going dark...anybody else have this problem and fixed it? If so...how?

Right now it can barely be seen in daylight and very dim at night. Any and all help is apprecaited! Thanks in advance.

My '03 coupe did that also. Chevy replaced the climate control module while under warranty so I don't know the cost. This problem does seem sort of regular in the c5's and has been posted here before. good luck........ cjs

Hi, it's a real easy fix. I did mine last week. You remove the panel and re-solder the connections on the back. Takes about an hour. There's a link on this site somewhere with photos and full instructions. Regards Chris (Spain)

And to help you to get at the display itself: http://myweb.cableone.net/kd5fx/HSwitch/HSwitch.htm

Another member posted these links for me, as I just did the fix on mine a few weeks ago. Hope this helps.
