Has anyone changed color or refurbished their convertible top? I have a top that’s in good physical condition, but the colors not too good after 25 years.

i have been exploring dying/painting the top to refurbish the tan or maybe change to black. Does anyone have experience and tips?

 

You can try checking with places that do that kind of work to see what their recommendation is.

 

If you are a DIYer there are many good vinyl spray colors available that work well. I have not done tops but have done many interior parts.

 

Thanks for the responses guys! I am looking to DIY it and have found several You tubes about it. I was interested in seeing if it was done by someone one chat.

As with everything, it’s all about prep!
