cross drilled rotors
hey guys, i looking into upgrading my brakes. i have a 99 c5 and im going to put the red z06 calipers on with cross drilled rotors. picking the calipers are no problem, but picking a set of rotors is tricky, there's so many to choose from. i like the look with alot of holes.
i'm hoping some one out there can direct me to a good set. i spoke to a friend with gm rotors and he said they tend to rust real fast after a car wash, so im considering other brands. thanks for any input.

RE: cross drilled rotors
Don't worry about rust - it disappears the first time you apply the brakes after washing the car. I would stay away from "drilled" rotors, as they can crack at the hole's sharp corner. Cored rotors are a step in the right direction if you MUST have some kind of holes. Personally, I'd go with slotted rotors with no holes, although I can't recommend a specific brand at this time.
