The dash lights on my '99 FRC work when they want to. When I turn the car off - the dash lights come on and stay on until I get out and shut the door as they should. At night when I turn the headlights or the parking lights on - the dash lights don't come on. I have tried turning the dimmer switch all the way in either direction including turning the interior lights on/off to no avail. On several occasions the lights have suddenly come on as I was driving. I have tried the dimmer switch at that time and everything works perfectly. The dash lights working is a hit or miss proposition. I mostly drive the interstates late at night making this problem more than an annoyance. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
