Exclamation HELP Starting and running problems

I'm at a red light and thought I would spin the tires a little so I tried powerbraking but a load pop came from under the Hood with a noticeable white smoke. Once I was able to get it started it ran roughly as IT REVVED fast and slow by itself. Turned it off and couldn't get it started until I had it towed home but doing the same thing.

Engine codes are 10-pcm - p0342 c ( cmp sensor circuit low voltage ) and p0522 h c ( engine oil pressure sensor circuit low voltage ).
Battery was dead at arrival of home so I charged it 2.5 hours and tried starting and had a loud popping noise and hi to low revving before I turned it off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default update

Well intake manifold, made of plastic, was broken in the back causing the problem. Purchased an aluminum intake and will give more updates when I can.

That's the first I've heard of a broken OEM intake. My guess is that a repair "mishap" was not mentioned to a buyer some where down the line.

Well my friends seem to think the 100 shot of nitrous I've added about a year ago has something to do with it. It blew the back out of the intake and disconnected the cam sensor and MAP sensors. I didnt use the nitrous every time i was in my car but probably cracked it enough to break this last time.

Unhappy code 0343 high cmp voltage

Got this code Friday with hard starting problems. Been doing some research and ppl with the same problem report that the 3 bolts holding the cam shaft in the front of the engine were loose. They recommend tightening them with loctite to the proper torque. That's my next project; good thing I have this next week off.

I spent some time replacing the driver's side headlight motor plastic gear with a brass one (already did the passenger side) and changed the oil/filter on my day off. If you haven't done this, already, you will. Fortunately, it's not too difficult to do and the brass gear should last twice as long as the plastic (which lasted 10 years).
