Default Hey Guys....I'm Back!!!

Well, I'm back....and so is my newly custom painted vette!
Got it painted with a couple of minor mods to compliment the new look
I had mesh screens installed in the front ducts and I replaced the stock amber/clear turn light assembly with an all clear housing. Since the bulbs are still amber it doesn't affect the color when the lights are on. I removed the corvette logo from the front bumper to leave it all black in the front. Lastly, I chromed the wheels to give the car some pop.....hope you like!

She looks absolutely amazing. Are you going to install the chrome letters in the front and rear bumper to help accent the wheels?

Gorichb the vette was black before but now it's Black!!!

D327....the screens were bolted on at Corvette Specialty of California.....they also did the paint job (5 coats of clear) to help with road debris scratches.....and shine

Peace,

Have you considered a short-throw shifter? The reason I ask is that I always felt the stock shifter was too tall. Short-throws take care of that issue, although additional effort is required to shift. Still, the 2-3 shift becomes lightning-fast. And of course, my shift ***** compliment them perfectly! BTW, I will soon be making some spherical shift ***** (2.1-2.2-inch diameter). I'll try the new one to see how it compares, but so far, I've never tried anything that gave me more control over the shifts. The ball-versions should be ready in a week or two. The good news is that black goes with everything! No color will look out of place in a black car.

Dave
