has anyone changed their headlights to hids on their c5 corvette? and if so what do you think of them?

 

I instaled them on my 98 Coupe and they are the difference of night and day. The kit cost me $150 with bulbs,ballast,and harnes. The longer there on while your driving the brighter they get. I got the 6000 brightness 35wt.

 

do you happen to have a link to the product you bought for your car? I'm interested in upgrading pretty soon.

 

i was offered 12000k with a yellow tint installed for 350$. Does that seem fair? can i buy the kit and do them myself?

Hi, I have switched mine a few months ago, they are very nice, brighter and definately changed the looks of my car.
They were easy to switch.

 

I had HID lights when I bought the car. I love them, there are extremely bright and I love to brag about them. Definately recommend them though make sure they are installed properly because mine had a loose connection and would flicker. I was eventually not so lazy and fixed it

 

i was going to get 4000k for a real fair price.

i was wondering if anyone has installed them on their c5 vette and how it went.

 

Anyone have a good picture of their vette withHID lights that they are willing to post?
