In March, I bought my '04 coupe/A4 with 17,880 on her. Now has 21,600. Only two problems one was a loose exhaust hanger, but that was a quick fix and the other was the battery had to be replaced - both covered by the original warranty. I know my vette is only 350 hp/5.7 L, but it seems really fast and I think I have a real peach!

had a 97 c5 in 2002 sold it when 91k showed & the car was problem free a friend has a 2000 6speed with huge miles(140k) change oil tires& brakes regular and no probs except ignition switch when his wife tried to stick jeep key in it

 

bought my '02 6M convert in August with 66k. it now has 69k. it has the slight rattle in the trans on takeoff. the line in this forum is that that is ok and normal. all else is doing well. hope it lasts.

 

I just bought an 02 Z06 with around 50k miles on it. Everything works great, no issues. I do however, get that rattle when I shut the engine down..does fine will driving/shifting, so ive not worried too much about it.

 

My 02 Z-06 has had the same noise from the get go.
Has 24K on it now and the sound has not changed. Hard to describe but think it is slack in the drive line??????? You hear it after start and release the clutch in nutral. My son's c-6 has the same sound.

I expect the running gear will last 200K pluss with a little TLC.
