Looking for some advice on shocks
Ok Looking at replacing the shocks on my 98 here real soon. I would just like to get some ideas and thoughts from the forum here on which ones to get. I would like a nice ride still, but maybe a little better in the performance department than the stock ones. Just a few that I am looking at, The Bilstein HD's, Edelbrock performers, Koni's high performance shocks, or just GM's touring shocks.
I have about a grand set aside for them, and only want to change them once and get some good ones the first time.
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks

RE: Looking for some advice on shocks
I've always liked Bilsteins. In fact, their R&D facility is 20 miles away from here. They make fantastic shocks - had em on my 68 for years. I went on a tour of Edelbrock's factories a few years back and they showed us their shock-testing machine. They call their shocks "Inertia shocks" and I like the idea. I just don't know anyone who has them.

Looks like i am going with Edelbrocks inertia shocks. I like Bilsteins, however don't really like the color.
I think the Edelbrock's will be just fine, and a descent price also.
