LS1 Aftermarket Valve Springs
Why would you want aftermarket valve springs? If you change out the cam, or go to high ratio rocker arms, then yes, you need new and stronger valve springs (and pushrods), but get that with the cam, all as a kit with retainers and all the parts you need, as a whole and compatible with one another, allfrom the same manufacturer.
I always liked Crower myself - never have had a problem with them in, oh, maybe 15 built up engines and perhaps 30-40 different cams over many many years. But there are others just as good, I think.

LW- Thanks for your reply. Yes, with the intent of changing valve springs the cam would also be changed too. It was actually just a general question about what aftermarket springs would one choose with having done aftermarket work such as cams etc. But I failed to really state that.
So you suggest Crower. Any body else?
