need help on this one
anyone have this problem. i've got a 97 and everytime it rains real hard for more than a
hour or some my passenger side floor board is soaking wet. the window is up all seals are
good, there is no water on inside of window or on the seat just floor board. where is it coming
from! oh forgot to mention the car is just sitting still not moving when this happens. thanks for the help!

sounds like it may be comeing through the forward door seal or through the coweling from under the hood. I'm not sure how the '97 is set up but if it is like my 87 those may be places to look. the water will have left a teltail where it is leaking. good luck with that and hopefuly someone will chime in with the answer. Cheers
Hey Mark
I almost hate to say this, but I would get in the car and have someone hose the car down on that passenger side, and than you'll be able to see exactly where it is coming from. Than trace it back to a seal, or a piece of weatherstripping most likely at the cowl area or door.

Oh man, I hear ya
I have some family in Eastern Oklahoma, and i love to visit around this time of year. cause I have never seen rain like that, living here in Northern Ca.
Puts a new meaning to the phrase, "when it rains it pours"
