i know someone is making a very compact supercharger setup for it, but it certainly wont be cheap...look into headers and full exhaust...a high flow cat, or remove it altogether if you live somewhere that it isnt required...K&N filter, possibly a cold air intake of some sort...
Exhaust is the cheapest way to get a few more ponies, couple that with a new intake, and you should get maybe 15-20 HP, though I haven't dyno'd mine since the mods. Rule of thumb - $100 = 1 HP on these machines.

Find you a good tuner. There is one in every fairly large city or Metro area. They can guide you on what you want and you will not waste money on needless things that look like they give you power but really don't.
Well, I never sold my kids although I think my wife wanted to sell me, or the 'vette, a few times.
I have a 02 ZO6 and a 98 Z28, both heavily moidifed, a step at a time.
My overall rule I've learned: real, no-BS, verifiable (on the dyno) costs an average of $85 per.
Sometimes you find bargains in the $50 range, but anything less is just BS.
Corvette: new, 405 HP rated, dynoed (with 3K breakin miles) on the dyno at 357 HP.
Mods: having the dyno shop tune it (they lean out the
F:A mixture and advance ignition a bit, the factory is
slightly conservative: added 5 HP at the rear wheels, cost $400.
Headers: I bought B&D long tube stainless from Lingenfelter, but
I doubt any long tube would do much different.
Added 27 HP, added 35 ft lbs of torque at 3500 RPM though. Cost $1100 + $250 to install
Cold air box: tried several. Only one did any good, forgot which one:
Added 4 HP, cost $350
Magnasun Supercharger kit (bought mine from Lingenfelter): cost $7900
counting the hood needed to clear the SC. Cost $1500 to have it put in.
Added 82 HP at the rear wheels, and when re-tuned, up to 97 HP.
to keep track, now have about 490 at rear wheels.
Sold that engine and bought a C5R 427 cubic inch block from GMPP.
- ported Patriot 3 heads
- best of all for all the internals (mostly Crowler but custom CP pistons)
- assembled by Charlie Hempfield racing (do a lot of Nascar stuff)
- a whole bunch of small stuff that added no power, larger radiator
tubbed rear wheel wells, new Fikse wide rims, etc.
Cost by the time it was in the car, and tuned, and perfect, about $37,500.
HP at the rear wheels: 510 HP@ Rear hweels (I tried a lot of cams and had up to
530 but a Crowler stage 3 gave this and great drivability.
This was a lot of money for only 20 HP, but . . it was built to only 10:1 compression ratio.
Finally,
ATI Procharger D1SC supercharger with intercoolers, etc., cost $9,600 but the time it
was installed and fitted and gave a lot of headaches before being perfected.
Total now: 635 HP at the rear wheels.
Recommendation: buy a Magnasem SC kit and drop it end, then stop spending.
You'll have close to 500 HP rear wheels with the new (intercolled, mine wasn't)
kit and no driveability problems and its great.
