Having trouble getting the passenger side window down. When I push on the switch to roll down the window(driver side or passenger switches) I hear a clicking noise. I thought maybe it was the window motor, so I took off the door panel to see what was going on. there is a black box on the door that the wires are hooked too. That box is what is clicking. Does anyone know what this box is called? Or has anyone had similar problems that may know what is wrong here? Thanks

 

Just had the same thing happen to my car and yes it is the window motor when you order a new one get the motor with the regulator. I can't rember what the black box is called but that is not your problem the click is the relay in the black box. That's where I started too but had someone help me that knew what he was doing ordered the new motor replaced it and its working fine now. Good Luck

 

The black box is the door control. Tap the motor while holding the switchand post back if it moves.
