New member with question: Can drivers seat be raised 1-2"??
Hello all...my first post here.
Actively looking for an '02-04 Red Auto Coupe with low miles for my wife. It will be our first Corvette. She is only 5'0" and prefers to sit a bit higher than what the seat will allow.
My first thought was to put a track under each side of seat, or spacers at each mounting location, and use longer capscrews to secure the seat but don't know if this is possible.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks, Bob

I have seen the entire seat including tracks raised. I know a dealer will not do such work (safety issue) but you might find a good shop that could rig it up. I would expect about 12 hours labor to do it right - so the power features still work, etc.

Thanks for response...apparently the seat doesn't just bolt to the body!! I had figured about 30 minutes to get seat out, some time to fabricate the spacers and get longer bolts, and 30 minutes for reinstall!
Apparently I'm moving into the jet age
BTW...I have a GN and saw your post about your race w/a twin turbo... Checked you profile and I see that we are same age....and years ago I lived in Cary ...small world.
