Hi, just bought my first corvette. Its A 2001 white with red interior convertible. Main reason I bought it is because I liked the color and the condition was immaculate. It only has 14,000 miles on it. However it does have a couple of issues I’ve discovered. First the drivers seat like to rock back and forth. I decovered there is a fix it kit for that and I have ordered it. The first time I drove it at night I noticed the radio lights don’t work and the headlights kind of suck. But the think that bugs me the most is how loud the tires are. They are only a couple of years old. They are the Goodyear run flat types. Also the 17/18 in stock wheelers don’t really fill out the wheel wells the way I would like. Other than that I do like the car.
so here are my questions:
first, is there an easy fix to get the radio lights to work?
second, is there an affordable headlight bulb replacement?
third, do 18/19 or 19/20 wheels fit without rubbing?
Forth, need a smother quieter ride. Should I ditch the run flats?
fifth, looking for wheel tire combinations (photos). I like chrome as opposed to aluminum. Blank is nice with chrome lip also.
sixth, do all newer corvette wheelers fit the c5?
