THE ONLY THING IS WITH THAT YEAR CAR THEY DONT SELL RIMS THAT YOU CAN PUT BEAUTY RINGS ON,SO HE ONLY HAS SO MANY OPTIONS IF YOU NO WHAT I MEAN.

One thing to consider is how much time you want to invest keeping polished rims polished with brake dust and what. In my book, chrome is a little easier to maintain.

Also keep in mind, Gold plating does fade. Always has, and always will, just the nature of the plating process. So it will need to be re-done, especially on a daily driver. If it sees alot of sun, than it fades quicker.

I Like the idea of Black and Chrome together also, especially on a black car. Chrome in my opinion will always look better than gold. Gold, done Wrong, can make a car look cheap also!

he could always get the ceramic brake pads. low brake dust.[8D]

The thing about gold fading is that it is a soft metal and wears off. The more you polish, the more it wears. Gold doesn't oxydize though ( It'll never "rust", so to speak ). A good plater can alloy it, and it will be more duarable.
A friend of mine does what he calls "triple, alloy" plating. He's done a lot of Harley parts and they hold up well.
