Power seat question
Hi All,
The side bolsters on the driver's seat don't adjust in or out. The motor hums when pushing the button in both directions. But no movement. I don't suppose this is something simple, is it?
I think my biggest fear with this car is the electrical. Because what I know about electrical you can fit in a thimble and still have room left over.

"You have to take out the seat but its not hard and take a close look at the hose going to the bolsters- you may be able to splice around the problem if you can see the cut--also check to see that the hose hasn't gotten compressed by some part of the seat mechanism--if so reroute it and tie it to some part of the seat so it won't it won't happen again. The other possibility is a leak in the bolsters themselves. they are simply bladders that hold air but I don't think both would leak at once so at least one side would inflate temporarily. Sounds like a hose problem to me. Good luck!"
