2001-2004 coupe/vert = 350 HP/ 375 Torque (MN6 tranny, A4 trannies had less torque)
2002-2005 Z06 = 405 HP/ ? torque
The coupe/vert have the LS1 engine. The Z06 has the LS6 which for 2004 was rated at 405 hp/400 ft·lb torque (or 302 kilowatts/542 newton meters or 72197 calories per second/55 kilogram-force per meter) .
The LS1 (standard model, 345 HP or 350 HP 2001 and later) was a 5.7 liter engine. So was the LS6 (385HP in 2001, 405 HP thereafter), but it had improved heads and a different cam. Otherwise nearly everything like water pumps, etc., is interchangable. The car also had different gearing (referred to informally by the factory as "street racer" gears, different suspension, brakes, lightweight titanium exhaust, etc., along with the hardtop body, llighter glass in the windows, less of the fancy auto-everything electronics, etc. It weighed 125-150 pounds less than the standard model.
