I'm considering aftermarket/race seats to replace my rickety stock seats. I have replaced the rocking fix bushings in both but the leather is looking rather sad and I would just like to switch them out. I know there are plenty of seats on the market, does anyone have any experience with any. I have watched videos of installs and it seems that a lot of them don't fit quite right, guys are having to swap the right side with the left side, and the bracket situation seems to be tricky, Drilling new holes, welding, re-welding, cutting, etc. Does anyone know of something that just fits!!

 

I put 2 OMP race seats in my track car. I would advise not to buy any cheap chinese amazon seat rails as they dont fit and are not worth the trouble..your gonna spend $450 per side for rails, yeah I looked for weeks to get a decent set of rails. Make sure you put large washers between floor and seat rails to bolster, if not the only thing holding the bolt that comes thru the floor is a tac weld, trust me mine started to crack. I wish I had a pic.
It was a PIA, but I had to have them.
