Yeah, R&T's used car summaries have been really the best for many many years now. I read through it and thought it was wll balanced and comprehensive, too. They didn't miss much.

 

I did see this - great article. Also, in the August issue of Car & Driver, there is a great comparison test (around Virginia International Raceway) among the different price category sportscars. The C6 and Z06 dominated their categories, defeating such cars as the Porsche GT3 and 911 Turbo, the Audi R8, BMW 335i and Z4 M coupe, along with the Mustang Shelby GT500 - a 3900 lb porker!
In the sub $30,000 category, the Pontiac Solstace beat the BMW minicooper-S and Mazda Mazdaspeed 3.

In other words, the American sportscars spanked the German sportscars, plain and simple!
