Service Traction Monitoring System Warning.
Today I was driving and stopped at a light, then all the warning bells sounded I lost power and the display read Loss Power and then Service Traction Monitoring System and the engine light was on. It took me a good 3 to 5 mintues to get around the corner and then to go about 20 feet. I made to luckly to the dealer across the street and left it with them. Does anyone know what this might be? Any help would be appreciated. Oh the dealer cant even check it out until Monday. Thanks a bunch Rene'

RE: Service Traction Monitoring System Warning.
The dealer will sort it out. I could be any of a number of things: a bad throttle pedal electronic sensor, bad throttle body stepper motor, of bad sensors in the traction system (although they should not evoke the low power mode you suffered with. I could also be a poor connection of the wires to the throttle body, although that is rare in unmodified cars.
