Has anyone installed the skip shift eliminator. I notice the transmition shifting back and forth when traveling at low speeds.I understand this little part is supposed to stop that.
If any has used it , Is it easy to install? Or do you even suggest it?

 

Yeah, I have no doubt a whole lot of folks here have the iCAGS unit. I installed mine within an hour of driving the car home. Also had installed on on my Camaro within an hour of buying it. Plugs into the side of the trans (which is in the rear). Helps to have a lift or ramps to get the car off the ground, then its literally a one minute job once you are under the car.

Do you have an auto or a six speed manual? The skip shift eliminator is for the manual only. It defeats the 1 to 4 lockout solenoid.

 

I installed the skip shift bypass also, the only thing I didn't like was that the light in the dash still comes on telling you to skip shift, but was told the light doesn't mean anything.....
