Default Squealing Brakes

My 03 has just 11K miles on it, but the brakes squeal. Anybody aware if some product that works, without a brake job? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried some aggressive braking, lately? Sometimes infrequent use results in glazing of the pads. "Burning it off" may help uncover the underlying (non-squeeling) pad material.

What Dave is referring to is called "burnishing". Take the pads off, clean them with some good spray brake cleaner, scuff them up with a buffing pad or some 100 grit sand paper, spray them again with brake cleaner. Then reinstall them, go drive car around 30 mph, keep light brake pressure on pads for 1/8 mile or so 2 or 3 times to get them good and hot. Try that and see if it helps. [8D]
