I have a c5 with z06 rims ... Has anyone ran the Nitto NT05R size 315 40 18... It looks like it will fit and I could use the taller tire for the 1/4 mile starting to run out of gear... I appreciate any info thanks

 

Most commonly, 315/30-18 for the rear and 275/35-17 for the front. I doubt 40s will fit without rubbing.

 

They fit perfect!!! I will say that you will NOT get a bigger tire on there. These tires work good too! I drove the car all day and it rained here in the late afternoon. The tires work amazing in dry conditions and I was pleased at how well they worked in the rain! My car is lowered about an inch and a half too... I strongly suggest the Nitto NTO5R !!!
