traction control system?
Exactly what happens? Does the light come on all the time? Only in some situations?
If you really have the reduced power evoking itself, you can hardly drive the car (it has, at most, 20 HP, just enough to move it somewhere safe.
There may be nothing wrong with the traction control. I've received this same error code many times and it has never been about the traction control itself -- always about the engine controls. Have you modified or played with the engine at all, particularly the thorttle body or MAF? The message is common if you haven't re-hooked up the wires tightly to the passenger's side of the throttle body.

Well, I hope it is that, but . . .
I had this problem repeatedly about 2 years ago. The electronic thrttle assembly and the TPI sensor were both replaced twice (if you have the manual, you can check the codes and see that is what it recommends to do).
turned out it was a loose wire junction in the wires leading to the TPI. Sometimes it would intermitantly open the circuit and the engine computer would go berserk. ((We have put a supercharger on the car and disconnected, then reconnected the TPI wires to route them around the SC, and we apparently bent a pin in the connector))).
Good luck.
