Default Transfer all Parts?

Just looking to see what you guys think.....I ended up getting a 2002 ZO6 with 3,000 miles on it [sm=bounceybounce.gif] ......assuming the shop in Seattle I have looking at it (for an impartial set of experienced car eyes)..... don't find anything wrong with it......just seeing what you all think of transferring aftermarket parts to the ZO6 from my 97 Vette.

I put headers, high flo cats, X-Pipe and Borla exhaust on the 97....I know the ZO's have titanium exhaust though too. Is it Titanium from the X-Pipe back or is all of it titanium? I was thinking of moving the Headers, cats and X-Pipe to the 02...and leaving the titanium exhaust on the ZO6 (assuming I am right when I think just the *** end of the exhaust is Titanium...)......just for the reduction in weight.....I wouldn't think it would be worth the extra weight for maybe only getting a few HP with the Borla Exhaust???? I know on the 97, there was a 21 HP gain at the RW with those additions....Is there any difference in the Headers, cats, and X-Pipe on ZO6s? Anyone have any advice? Thanks!

I will be posting some pics of my new baby shortly.....

I believe the Z06 titanium is cat-back only. They produce an exhaust sound that is not nearly as noticable as the Borlas. Without headers, a Ti cat-back sounds just a tiny bit louder than the stock coupe/vert exhaust. Headers will raise the volume, but if you like the volume of what you have now, you may be dissappointed with the Tis. As far as the bolt-ons, I think you should be okay. The late 01s and newer C5s have Z06 blocks in them (my C5 does), so compatibility of parts is almost a sure thing.

Hmmmm, then again, some parts may NOT fit. See:

I'm looking into that now......I love the volume of my 97...so I'm leaning toward moving everything (headers, cats, x-pipe and exhaust) over to the 02 ZO6....just to have the sound....I don't think 20lbs...or whatever it is in weight is really going to effect me....at my skill....and racing level!
