can the transmitters be reprogrammed or is this a dealer only process?

Hi,

You can do it yourself, in the owners manual it shows how to do it from the menu and train a new key fob. I'm sure there's a post here on the actual steps, just can't remember but I think you page through options until the display goes blank, then hold reset for 5 secs and it takes you to the menu where you can train fobs, tire sensors and a couple other things. When it says "training fob" you hold both lock and unlock buttons down on it for 5 seconds and it will say "learning complete". New ones are like $70 at the dealer, sometimes you can find them really cheap on Ebay.
