i have a 99 the fuse keeps blowing on turn signal. i replaced the fuse and smoke came out of the dash where the haz switch is has anyone had that problem?

 

Have you checked the wire bundle that is in the accordian covering that resides in the corner of the driver's door? One or more wires may come loose from the connector and short out against a metal part, potentially causing symptoms similar to yours.
