Default Turn signal

How do you replace the front turn signal bulb on 2001 vette? Have had a problem getting to the bulb to replace it.

Here's the instructions

Park/Turn Signal/Side Marker Lamp Bulb Replacement

Removal Procedure
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
Remove the front fascia lower closeout panel.
Release the brake caliper cooling duct from the front fascia, and position the duct aside.

Remove the appropriate socket from the lamp assembly.
Remove the bulb from the socket.

Installation Procedure
Install the bulb to the socket.
Install the socket to the lamp assembly.
Position the brake caliper cooling duct to the front fascia and press the duct toward the fascia to secure.
Install the front fascia lower closeout panel.
Lower the vehicle.

I am sure you replaced your bulb by now but for others reading this forum I found a better way.

1. First manually raise the headlight by turning the **** behind the headlight unit. Make sure the car is off so the light does not close on you.
2. Take off the black plastic housing around the headlight enclosure (three Philips head screws).
3. Remove the rubber hood stop bolt. This will give you more room to maneuver.
4. Now you can reach behind the headlight and get to the turn signal bulb.
