UPDATE -fast blinking left turn signal
Well, it turns out to be my brake light, not the front turn signal and I'm glad because the back bulb looks easier to replace. If we ever have to replace the front turn signal bulbs it will be a real chore, since my car is so low it would have to be lifted. (Thank goodness I have my lifting pucks.) And tonight, when we thought it was the front bulb, we were never able to get the headlamps in the half open position the manual described and I just don't know if we ever would have been successful. Very discouraging, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it.
Thanks again, everyone for all you help and advice.
Take care, stay safe.

Rita.....you're turning into a regular vette mechanic
....can I drop my car off for some minor repairs?

Ha, Ha, very funny! I am not feeling too smart, since I couldn't get the front headlamp in the half position the manual was describing. I wish I could get under the car - that would be so easy. Of course, that is after I tie back my hair to keep it clean. Isn't that what all good mechanics do???

yep, that's what my mechanic does all the time

Nice silver C5!!! It seems like most people in this forum prefer silver vettes......I'm starting to feel out of place
I'll have you know I wanted a black vette - just like yours - but never really saw a nice one. Then I saw the one I bought and, although I don't love the color, I do love the exhaust pipes. Inside and out it is like new, plus it had 17K miles on it and I do love the lines of the '04, soooo I'll just have to be content with drooling over your stallion.
Stay safe, Rita

Hi Rich,
Well, it is not fixed yet. That will be tonight, but it should be easy. I just hope I never have to replace the turn signal bulb. Looks like it will be a bear getting to it.
Thanks again for your help and support.
Take care, stay safe.
