I'll have you know I wanted a black vette - just like yours - but never really saw a nice one. Then I saw the one I bought and, although I don't love the color, I do love the exhaust pipes. Inside and out it is like new, plus it had 17K miles on it and I do love the lines of the '04, soooo I'll just have to be content with drooling over your stallion.

Stay safe, Rita

Wow, Rita....that is the ultimate compliment...thank you.....I hope that with the new cosmetic changes I'm making to the car that the "Black Stallion" will meet your expectations ...only time will tell

Nice silver C5!!! It seems like most people in this forum prefer silver vettes......I'm starting to feel out of place
NO WAY!!!! Black is like the ULTIMATE Intimidation color. If you think about it, most of the so-called "Bad Boys" in movies drove black cars. The guys in movies with the softer side drove red ones. And most of the times, like in Batman and Nightrider, they were good guys and their cars were black. So, if you catch my drift, your car is B-E-A-Utiful and i think you made the best decision in sticking with the black. I am going to get mine repainted black when i get the money. I have to do quite a bit of other stuff first though.

Haha, i didnt mean guys in real life LOL... But still, a lot of movies that have sports cars, the guy with the red sports car is the protagonist. The guy with the black muscle car is the bad guy. And thats just how i see things. I am not saying im a bad guy or anything, but i feel that i dont need to have a red car so people notice me... Now that i said that you are probably thinking, "well i didnt get a red car so people would notice me" and im not saying that you guys did, im just saying, i think red cars and chrome rims are very flashy and i would rather keep myself low-key. Just personally though. I LOVE YOU GUYS!! I didnt mean to say anything about your girly red cars .. lol, JUST KIDDING!!!!

Well, Matt - I'll tell you what someone told me when I said I wanted to stay low-profile, or as you said "low-key" .

She said, "If you want to stay low-profile - then you shouldn't be driving around in a Corvette with that blonde hair!" Ha, ha, guess I don't have to tell you she is a brunette. MEOW!

Face it Matt, you are way beyond low-key, so just be who you are and let your colors fly . . . .
whatever those colors may be.

Take care, stay safe.
