hooking up a vacuum gauge in a pillar pod and i'm looking for a vacuum line to hook it up to. can anyone tell me if the long blak line in the attached pichure is a vacuum line. any help appreciated.

 

I can't see why you couldn't use the PCV line that is on the passenger side. The added benefit is that if you install a catch can, a drop in vacuum at idle will indicate the filter media is clogged. I intend to install a digital vacuum gauge, one of these days.

 

thanks dave for the suggestion, i will look at that. i'm not that familar with these newer vettes, and with out a service manual i don't know what i'm looking at when i open the hood.
