Whats the best performing intake manifold for ls6

Default Whats the best performing intake manifold for ls6

I swapped in a brand new ls6 in my 00 corvette i am now looking to beef it up slowly but i want the best of the best that will perform. I was looking at the lsx fast manifold with the built in nos ports but also like the affordability of the bbk ssi manifold.. I neeed hellppp fellasssss... Maybe theres something out there better then both... Give me some ideas

I've had good results with FAST manifolds on LS6s. The 90 mm thrtthel body version is best for stroked or heaviliy modified engines, but even the stock size shows real gains.

thanks.. but can i use the 90mm setup on my stock las6 and would it hurt me rather then help me>>>.

thanks..but can i use the 90mm setup throttle body and manifold on my stock ls6 ?? would it hurt me more then help me ??

Well, if you have a 90mm throttle body then you could put that (note that generally, the good ones cost more than the FAst manifold), and the 90 mm FAST intake manifold, on a stock or near stock engine. I'd expect you'd give up about 25 ft lbs of torque below 4000 RPM and not gain much at the top end versus the smaller FAST manifold, but you'd be set up for future mods including a cam or a stroker. The car would present a bit of a tuning challenge to whoever you had do the re-tune (which with the 90mm you would definately need): you'd want to get someone really good to do the tune or you might have driveability issues around town.
