I have a 99 c5 vette and a buddy of mine was going to hook me up on a ls6 intake but someone said my car came with a ls6 intake. So could i get some help, is my stock intake a ls1 or ls6? Thanks

 

Don't take my word for it, but my thoughts are that the standard Corvette didn't come with the LS6 intake until 2001.

Your car did not come from the factory with an LS6 manifold,. No doubt about it--the LS6 was not released until 2001. Someone may had added one later however, but it its stock it is an early LS1 manofold. Note that when retrofitting the LS6 manifold to pre-2001 cars you hae to modify the EGR some to get everything to fit (it is not a matter of getting the GR to work as much getting everything to fit well, period). There is a kit somewhere (Eckler's) for this.
