wheel swap
Hello Everyone,
New today, coming with a question regarding swapping wheels on my 97'. I currently have stock wheels and want to change to the thin spoke polished wheels from later models. Do I need to be concerned about certain years fitting properly? Seems like I saw somewhere that only 97' to 00' are the same? Also, can the tire sensors be taken from my stock wheels and installed on the new ones without having any problems? Looking at some thin spokes from a 01' and don't want to buy them until I am sure they are ok. Thanks for any help you may offer.

I don't think you will have any problems. However, you might want to take this guy's advice:
Dave
as far as your sensors go, they are reaching the end of their life... they will not outlast new tires,,many people including my self have seen TPS failure with 99's and even 2000 are seeing failure...
I would suggest new sensor, the cheapest place to get them is from Gene Culley at Fred Beans:
330 dollars delivered

I got new sensors about 6 months ago..for my 99
