Default Y2K Polished Wheels

Hi, Has anyony ever noticed any imperfections in the clearcoat?

Like a fish eye? Can this be fixed?

Thanks!

...not easily, since polishing it out would also remove the protective clearcoat. My polished wheels are now over 7 years old and there are discolorations and other age-related blemishes that are inherent to these wheels. Still, they look pretty good from a distance, so I'm not ready to replace them.

Thanks.

How about cases where the inner rim/barrel isn't polished as well as the face?

If you polish anything enough to go from dingy to chrome-like, it means you have removed the clear coat. Without the clear coat, you can expect to have to polish the wheels regularly (whenever you see any signs of corrosion). Of course, you should be able to have them polished and clearcoated, but that will be somewhat expensive and time-consuming.
