Although i like my titanium exhaust on my z06, im entertaining the thought of installing electronic cut outs. Ive called a couple of local shops and they have told me that the cant do it because the current exhaust is titanium, therefore causing a welding issue. Is there any way around this? or do i have to get a whole new exhaust system, so it would be compatible? What is the best (most cost effiecient) solution?

I'd recommend find another welding shop... It can be done.

I heard it couldn't be done and that you would have to get a whole new exhaust.

 

The mufflers are titanium not the whole exhaust I have electric cut outs sounds amazing 1/4 open all the time.

 

What do electronic cut outs run? $$
