I have 2005 C6 and love the car! How long should a person keep the car before selling it in order to minimize your losses ? I'm talking low mileage and top shape as well. Hearing and reading about the 08 C6's makes me anxious to make a move but I think I will wait until the C7's come out (2010?) after all they are only going to grt better all the time.

 

That's a question that every person has to answer for themselves. The '08 is only a slightly warmed over version of what you have now -- more HP, but only what you can get with headers and cold air -- same basic looks, suspension,etc. Will the C7 (whenever it comes out) be different enough to warrant waiting? Who knows? But one point to consider, given GM's record, if the '10 really is an all new design, wait for the '11s then. Regardless, all you'll get for the next few years is rumors (most untrue) and spy photos (half correct) and speculation. I probably won't get another 'vette until GM goes to 4 wheel drive and direct injection, but you never know.
