I have a buddy who is finally getting into the Corvette family! he is looking for an 08 or newer c6. I could tell him all the known issues if he wanted to get a c5 (which is what I have) but I don't know many of the issues that are on a c6. I am looking for all the known common issues that the c6 has. such as on the c5 there are known issues with the climate control LED going out, the ABS unit has issues which r4equire it to be sent to absfix.com the power door lock actuators, etc. and he is looking for a manual trans so if there are issues with an auto trans on the c6 it is not a concern for him

Not recognizing the key fob

 

I’ve replaced window motors both sides transmission manual. Now the brakes go on by themselves. I’ve looked around it seem to be a problem common to 2006- 2007

 

Welcome to the forum. You need to start a new thread for your problem. Not sure what you mean by"brakes go on by themselves.

 

I don’t know how to maneuver forums. Too old or too dumb either way how do I get informed how to work this site?. My car has a service tire pressure monitor weeks later the front right wheel braked on its own out of nowhere skidding pulling the car. Then the back brake did the same. It’s common after looking around and going to the DOT government site
