Hey I am buying a '06 C6 Converible, I was considering getting the carbon fiber dash kit. Does anyone have this? Or any opinons on this? I always thought that carbon fiber interiors looked cheap, but i've seen some nice stuff on other high end cars. If anyone has it please post some pics. and any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

 

If you like the look, get it. But realize that this is something that will really date the car and probably look old in just a few years. Also, is it real carbon fiber or just look alike -- a lot is fake, I don't know about the C6.

 

My only suggestion is to make sure you are getting real and not fake CF and make sure you get it from a good dealer and not some ebay junk.
