I have the Borla Touring exhaust on my 05 Vette. It isslightly louder than stock which is what I was after. I contacted Borla directly and they said the Stinger for C6 is much louder than the C5 stinger. I also have a friend with the most aggresive sounding B&B exhaust. He said it is almost too loud, because you can't carry a conversation in the carhardly at all.

Just installed BB Route 66 in my 07 C6. Has a great sound and not very loud, but - there is a "buz" sound from accelerating from a low RPM in 5 and 6, which I don't like !!!

I also installed the flowmaster, and it totally
re-defines "exhaust drone" in my C6. outside the
car it does sound good, but inside the drone is so
bad, I can hardly hear my-self think.
also, the Rt. side pipe was a poor fit!
with my problems, I would not recommend that
system.

I'll soon be putting a BB Bullet exhaust system. Theres a huge difference between this and the Route 66(kinda sounds like corsa, lol).On top of that, im going to also be putting kooks 1 7/8 headers, catless x-pipe, intake and a tune. Im pretty sure its going to be annoyingly loud, but thats how i like an exhaust to be.

I also just installed the Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust on an '08. Like the sound over the stock setup that let you hear the intake more than the exhaust. Changed out the intake for a Airaid system and pleased with both. The exhaust is appropriate to the car. Deep muscle car sound at idle, little resonance and quiet at speed. It is not a stainless system with aluminized steel inlet pipes but the mufflers themselves are apparently stainless and nice 1/2" larger outlet tips. I would recommend a pro install as it is advisable to have some welding done for overall stability. Cost $100 at a local shop. Was afraid it would possibly be too loud but it is just right to me. Beats the hell out of the full Magnaflow system I put on an 03. Those sounded just about the same as stock even with high flow cats.
