I'm looking at the flowmaster american thunder muffler system for my c6 but i heard that they don't flow for ****. Anybody have any experience with these???

 

There are a lot of choices and high flow rate is not a reliable measure of performance or sound. I would recommend actually hearing a C5 or C6 exhaust of the type you want before buying - really hearing it. Sound clips of the internet are often mis-leading.

 

Borla is a good performer, and sounds great.

Flow masters suck. I had the 40 series. They droned and sounded horriable. Go with borla. They are alot better and deeper sounding and flow fine. I run muffler eliminators with gutted cats because I dont have emissions testing for my C4........You could take your stock mufflers, cut them open with a plasma torch, gut them out and reweld them shut VERY FLOWING THEN.
