Interior door panels
Is there anything I can use on my door panels on my 2006 to make them look/wear better. They smudge, chaulk, show every touch, look like crap even aftercleaning. I do not want to apply armour-all or anything else without some suggestions.
I suppose replacing them is always an option. Chevy should be ashamed.
Thanks,
Don K
First, I don't think Chevy has anything to apologize for. For about $50,000 you get a car that performs equal to $150,000 cars yet costs only a bit more than a standard Chevy to maintain, so something had to be compromised and that is: 1) parts bin engineering (half the parts are standard Chevy, not necessarily bad but not premium, either), 2) so-so build quality, it's not bad but its not Porsche qualitymuch less equal to the best (Lambo, Aston, etc.) and finally, it has an interior that could have been made by Fisher-Price, not Fisher body, it is so much molded plasic. Still, I consider the 'vette a bargain at its price.
ArmorAll will both make the door panels look better and make them more resistance to caulking and marks. It does also make everything shiny, which exacerbates the "cheap plastic look" in some people's opinions, but that can't be helped.
