I’m pretty new to cars, but there is an 08 selling near me it has 138k miles, been in a driver side and rear end accident, missing service records from 80k to 130k miles, is it worth looking at and if so how about how much would it sell for?

 

Has the damage been repaired yet? How bad is/was it? Does it have a branded title? What is the overall condition of the car?

Welcome to the forum. I'd recommend having someone with Corvette knowledge to really check it out. Seems strange that it goes through an auction about once a week.

 

Shark the Vette is looking good. There is still no other feeling like an old C-3 BB rumbling down the street. Yes the barn finds are still out there hidden most of the time, in garages, sheds and back yards. A few years back I was working in a neighborhood and spotted a 69 Blue coupe 4 speed BB in good condition, (it had a BB hood) not sure what engine it had, it was in their back yard near the street with no fence, It was awhile before I went back and when I did it was gone. So if you see one that looks good don't hesitate to ask about it then before it goes away. When working diving a large construction truck driving through old neighborhoods I was able to see in a lot of back yards, only saw a few Corvettes, and sometimes a lot of junk. So yes keep your eyes open there are some jewels out there looking for a good home..
