Default Looking for my first Vette

I know of a 08 coupe that has under 10K miles. Mint condition. Base, no Z51. I think he will let it go for 33K.
is this a good deal?

Welcome to the forum. Sorry about the delay in getting back to you.

My 2021 Corvette Magazine Buyer's Guide shows $32,500 for the top price for a "Show Ready" (their top rating category) 2008 coupe. It also said to check for leather wrap separation from the top of the dashboard.

Good luck with your potential purchase - Hope you get to look at it for your own self and drive it, too. This will give you the opportunity to ask the owner some questions. Low-mile cars are generally a good thing, though most of the time they'll be priced accordingly (read: more money). One thought here....it's definitely a seller's market out there right now, so naturally most of the asking prices will be somewhat higher than some published values (and even in some cases, just plain ludicrous!). If you want one now, be prepared. If you can wait for it, the prices may come down. Just my $0.02......

So, I just purchased my first C6 a few weeks ago - I spent months figuring out what my wife and I would be happy with. Interesting how that all evolved: I went from wanting a base 08 coupe with high miles, to wanting a 12 or 13 3LT Grand Sport coupe. I really wanted a blue car (I had the hots for Jetstream blue....). Had to go with an auto vs manual, so my wife could enjoy the car herself. Aside from that, I knew I would appreciate heated seats and a HUD. So increasingly, I was looking at the more heavily-optioned cars. I also started to appreciate how much nicer I thought the wide-body cars looked. We finally bought a low-mile 2012 GS coupe in Carlisle blue....a 3LT car with auto trans. We paid a lot for it, but we're really happy with it.

So if you decide to go for the 08, I'll be really happy for you!

Yes, that is a fair price. I've been looking for a few months now and finally dropped the hammer on one 4 days ago. You won't be sorry. Enjoy!
