I have a 2007 convertable whitewith anebony interior. I never liked Corvettes before. They seemed rough and then I drove this fantastic car. I was warnedthat having a Vette meant there may be a few things (reverse on park), but that really didn't seem like an issue. You just do it and don't lookback.Are there any kits oradjustments thatcan make the shift smoother? I had the fix put in for 1-4 shift by pass, but once in a while I wonder why is shifting so rough. I"m not going to stop driving, but it would be niceif the trans were as nice as the rest of the car.

 

My car has 500 miles and I notice it a bit as well but i have only owned VW and Audis my whole life and they are a world of a different car. My shifts a little rough but 1st to 2nd when cold almost kinda grinds a tad but after warming completely up is fine... what is this 1to4 kit? I hate seeing that light, read the manual but still dont get the real point of it....

 

I took my car into the dealership for the targa rip off problem on my 06... I asked them to check the trans because I was noticing rough shifting and occassional gear grinding noises.. he said the trans on Vettes is very tough and this is normal so not to worry...
It is kindof annoying at times however..

I already have a CAGs installed. Im noticing rough shifting in all gears at times not just going into 2nd.

 

FYI... took car into dealer cause the crappy Delco battery was dieing and had them look at the tranny again.. service rep went for a ride with me (he drove) and he noticed the rough shifting, particularly when downshifting from 4th to 3rd... they took it into the shop and found some air in the lines, so they bled it out and now it runs smooooothhh.... the love affair is on again..
