I am looking to track my car and would prefer not to use the run flat tires or pull a trailer with track tires. Therefore, I am looking to see if anyone knows if there is a wheel and tire size which could be utilized for a short distance to act as a spare. I would appreciate responses from those of you who track your car and what tires you are running with and how you handle the potential of a flat if you are not running the run flat. Your help would be appreciated.

 

I use a mini-spare from a late model Camaro - got it at a salvage yard for $30.

I run 275s in front and 345s (drag radials) on the rear, don't remember all that stats but they at within .1 inch of stock diameter.
