Tire Pressure
Hello all. Just a quick question related to the optimal cold/hot tire pressure on these F1's. Is there a consensus on the best pressure to run these for both performance and longevity?(not that they will lat very long at the rate I am going)
I ran my stock F1s at 33-34 lbs on both ends and had fairly even tire wear.
A rule of thumb on upgraded tires is to run tire pressures inversely proportional to section width: for example at the rear I'm running 345s instead of stock 295s, so I set the rears at 295/345 x 33lbs =28 lbs on the street. At the track, since they are drag radials, I reduce pressure to 24 lbs to get a bit more bite.
