This is my first post here. I am shopping for a new end of the year 06 corvette, and have a question regarding tires. I have had two corevettes in the past, and ended up driving both part of winter months in Illinois. In light snow they both handled fairly well. On the new 06, will I have the same experience? I hope to only drive occasionally in the winter. I was also inetersted in finding out about replacement tires. Someone told me the tires are special order and pretty expensive. Is this true?

Does anyone know if the manufacturer offered any type of incentive last year around this time on remaining 05 inventory, or is this one of those specialty vehicles that will never see an incentive?
