This may seem like a silly question, but what are the little squares that are in front of the headlights ( mounted on the front bumber ) that are seen on some of the Z06's ?? I saw a video that looked as if they rose up when the high beams came on.

 

sensors for oncoming traffic? to turn the brights off automatically? I donno.

 

I could be wrong, I dont have one, but little bumps in front of headlights usually hold squirters for blue juice for washing off the headlites.

I was hoping my bump would get you a real answer this afternoon.. someone will give you a good answer

 

I believe the above is correct. On my CTS I have the HID's from factory and they clean the lights everytime you hit your windshield washer.
